In short
The best robot vacuum and mop for most homes is the eufy Omni C28. What decides it is mop care: the dock washes the 28 cm roller, hot-air dries it at 50°C and collects dirty water, the mop lifts 10.8 mm on carpet, and eufy claims 15,000 Pa of suction.

OUR PICK
eufy Omni C28
Best for: Multi-pet homes with hard floors and short carpets that want a self-cleaning roller mop without a camera.
The Omni C28 treats the mop as seriously as the vacuum: a roller that is rinsed as it turns, a dock that washes and heat-dries it, and a lift for carpets. Runtime is missing from the listing.
The 28 cm HydroJet roller has 24 water ports and spins at 270 RPM, with a scraper sending dirty water to a separate tank.
DuoSpiral brush is rated for hair up to 30 cm (11.8 in) without wrapping, per eufy's own cleaning tests.
The station empties into a 3 L bag, washes the mop and hot-air dries it at 50°C for up to 75 days of hands-off use.
Manufacturer figures from the product listings; the dark bar is our pick. Pa figures only compare fairly between models measured the same way.

The models in detail
This comparison is for homes with enough tile, vinyl or sealed wood that a robot which only vacuums leaves part of the job undone. We chose six vacuum and mop combos from Amazon.com product listings checked on October tenth, 2026, ranging from full-service roller-mop stations to simpler robots with a damp pad. Everything below comes from the listings and brand charts; we did not mop any floors with these robots ourselves.
1 · Our pick
eufy Omni C28
Robot vacuum4,3/5 from 59602 Amazon customer ratings (as of October 10, 2026)
For mopping, the C28 stands out because the roller is cleaned during the run, not just at the dock. The 28 cm HydroJet roller has 24 water ports and spins at 270 RPM, and a scraper sends dirty water to a separate tank, so the robot is less likely to spread grime across the kitchen. Back at the station, the roller is washed, dried with 50°C hot air and the clean tank refilled, while debris goes into a 3 L bag for up to 75 days. The mop lifts 10.8 mm on carpet, the same as the E25, which is enough for low rugs but not deep pile. Next to the Roomba 105 Combo and both Sharks, which leave pad washing to you, this is a different level of convenience. The gaps: no runtime or battery figure, and no camera, so small objects under 3 x 3 x 3 cm may not be avoided. Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 59,602 buyers.
Pros, cons and specs
Pros
The 28 cm HydroJet roller has 24 water ports and spins at 270 RPM, with a scraper sending dirty water to a separate tank.
DuoSpiral brush is rated for hair up to 30 cm (11.8 in) without wrapping, per eufy's own cleaning tests.
The station empties into a 3 L bag, washes the mop and hot-air dries it at 50°C for up to 75 days of hands-off use.
Camera-free LiDAR navigation avoids obstacles of 3 x 3 x 3 cm and larger.
Cons
Runtime and battery capacity are not stated (only a "long-lasting battery").
Without a camera, objects smaller than 3 x 3 x 3 cm (cables, socks) may not be avoided.
Dust bags are a consumable to replace.
Best for: Multi-pet homes with hard floors and short carpets that want a self-cleaning roller mop without a camera.

The E25 is the C28's closest rival and wins on published numbers. eufy lists 20,000 Pa of suction, the highest on this page, and a 125 min runtime in standard vacuum and mop mode, a figure the C28 does not give. It stores up to 5 floor maps, useful if you carry it between levels. The 11.4 in HydroJet roller is rinsed with clean water 2 times per second under 1.5 kg of downward pressure, and the station empties a 3 L bag for about 75 days, washes the roller, dries it with hot air at 50°C and refills water. Mop lift is 10.8 mm, so eufy itself warns that thicker rugs may still need no-go zones, and the robot climbs thresholds up to 21 mm. Noise is listed at up to 61 dB in max mode. It does not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi. Its 54,090 ratings at 4.4 out of 5 look shared with other eufy models, so read them with that in mind.
Pros, cons and specs
Pros
The HydroJet roller mop is rinsed with clean water 2 times per second, with 1.5 kg of downward pressure.
20,000 Pa suction plus DuoSpiral brushes that eufy says cut hair tangling by 53% versus previous models.
The station empties into a 3 L bag lasting about 75 days, washes the roller, hot-air dries at 50°C and refills water.
125 min runtime in standard vacuum + mop mode and up to 5 saved floor maps.
Cons
The robot does not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi, and it is a 110V US model.
Dust bags are a consumable to replace.
Mop lift is 10.8 mm, so thicker rugs may still need no-go zones.
Best for: Larger multi-floor homes with pets that want a roller-mop robot with a full-service station.
Skip it if your home network is 5 GHz only or you have many high-pile rugs.

Think of the Roomba 105 Combo as a vacuum that can also wipe. A micro-pump keeps the microfiber pad moist, SmartScrub is claimed to add 2x deeper scrubbing, and the box includes 1 extra pad. ClearView LiDAR lets it detect carpet and steer around it while mopping, which partly makes up for the lack of a lift: rugs are skipped on mopping runs rather than cleaned in the same pass, so a mixed home may need two runs. The AutoEmpty dock handles debris for up to 75 days in a bag, but it does not touch the pad, so you rinse it by hand. Compared with the eufy roller mops, there is no dirty-water tank and no drying, which matters if you mop often. Suction is given only as 70X more power-lifting suction, with no Pa figure, and runtime is not listed. It still carries a solid 4.4 out of 5 from 49,377 ratings.
Pros, cons and specs
Pros
Empties into a bagged AutoEmpty dock for up to 75 days; the bag traps 99% of allergens as small as 0.7 microns, according to the listing.
ClearView LiDAR maps the home, and the robot detects and avoids carpets while mopping.
Vac only, mop only or combo modes, with adjustable passes, suction and mopping solution in the app.
SmartScrub adds 2x deeper scrubbing; the box includes 1 extra mop pad.
Cons
Dock bags are a consumable to replace.
The pad does not lift and the dock does not wash it.
Suction is given only as 70X more power-lifting suction, with no Pa figure or runtime.
Best for: Budget buyers who want LiDAR mapping, light mopping and a self-emptying dock in one box.
Skip it if you want a mop that lifts over rugs, a self-washing station or a bagless dock.

Among the Shark combos, the AV2800ZE is the one that gets closest to the eufy stations. The NeverTouch Pro base empties debris for up to 60 days, refills the robot's water for up to 30 days, and washes and dries the pad after every clean. The sonic pad extends up to an inch at edges, EdgeDetect blasts air into corners, and StainDetect is claimed to add mopping passes where it finds stains. Shark says the pad stays above carpets and NeverStuck lifts the robot over thresholds, though no lift height is given, unlike the 10.8 mm stated for the C28 and E25. What you do not get is any number for suction, battery or runtime, so it cannot be ranked against the eufy models on power. Odor neutralizer cartridges and cleaning solution are ongoing purchases. Its 41,687 ratings at 4 out of 5 appear shared with another Shark model.
Pros, cons and specs
Pros
The NeverTouch Pro base empties debris for up to 60 days, refills the water tank for up to 30 days, and washes and dries the pad after every clean.
DirtDetect and StainDetect boost suction or add mopping passes where needed, according to the listing.
EdgeDetect blasts air into corners and extends the pad up to an inch for edge cleaning.
NeverStuck lifts the robot over thresholds and keeps the pad off carpets.
Cons
Suction in Pa, battery and runtime are not given.
Odor neutralizer cartridges and cleaning solution are consumables.
Coverage claims are compared against the older Shark ION.
Best for: Busy households with hard floors who want a Shark vacuum-mop whose base also washes and dries the pad.
Skip it if you need a published suction figure or want to avoid buying cartridges and solution.

This Shark makes sense if you want no dock bags at all and can live with hand-washing the pad. The bagless base holds up to 30 days of debris with True HEPA filtration rated at 99.97%, half the 60 days of the AV2800ZE and well short of the 75 days of the eufy and Roomba docks. The sonic pad scrubs 100x per minute, and Shark claims Matrix Mop gives 50% better stain cleaning, compared against its own models rather than other brands. That is where the mop story ends: the base does not wash, dry or refill the pad, and the listing does not mention mop lifting, so carpets may have to be blocked off on mopping runs. Recharge and resume is included. No suction figure, runtime or battery capacity is given. It averages 4 out of 5 across 36,550 ratings, a count possibly spread over several Shark variants.
Pros, cons and specs
Pros
Matrix Clean runs a grid pattern with multiple passes, which Shark claims gives 30% better carpet cleaning than its RV2610WD.
Sonic mopping scrubs 100x per minute, and Matrix Mop targets zones for 50% better stain cleaning, per the listing.
The bagless base holds up to 30 days of debris with True HEPA filtration rated at 99.97%.
Recharge & Resume lets it return to the base and pick up where it left off.
Cons
No suction figure in Pa, runtime or battery capacity is given.
The base only empties the dustbin: it does not wash, dry or refill the mop.
The listing does not mention mop lifting, so carpets may need to be excluded when mopping.
Best for: Pet owners who want LiDAR mapping, self-emptying and light mopping in one robot.
Skip it if you need a dock that washes the mop or you want published suction and runtime numbers.

The Q7 M5+ is a vacuum first and a mop second. roborock lists 10000Pa of suction and, in its brand chart, up to 150min of runtime, the longest on this page. The RockDock Plus empties into a 2.7L sealed bag that lasts up to 7-9 weeks, and the JawScrapers main brush plus a side brush rated at 0% hair tangling help with pet hair. Mopping is electronic, with 3 water flow settings set in the app, but according to roborock's own chart there is no mop lifting and no obstacle avoidance. That means rugs need no-go zones when you mop, and clutter on the floor is your job to clear. Next to the C28 and E25, you lose roller washing, drying and the dirty-water tank; next to the Roomba 105 Combo, you gain a published suction and runtime figure. The app works on 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only. It is rated 4 out of 5 by 25,420 buyers.
Pros, cons and specs
Pros
10000Pa HyperForce suction for carpets and edges, according to the listing.
The RockDock Plus empties into a 2.7L sealed dust bag that lasts up to 7-9 weeks.
JawScrapers main brush and a 0% hair-tangling side brush resist pet hair wrap.
Vacuums and mops in one go, with 3 water flow settings, no-go zones and schedules in the app.
Cons
No mop lifting and no obstacle avoidance, per the brand comparison chart.
Dust bags are a consumable to replace.
The app supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only.
Best for: Pet owners on a budget who want strong suction, LiDAR mapping and a self-emptying dock with basic mopping.

The mop type matters more than the vacuum on a combo. A roller mop, like the HydroJet roller on the C28 and E25, is rinsed while it runs and scrapes dirty water into a separate tank, so it is less likely to smear. A flat pad, like those on the Roomba 105 Combo and roborock Q7 M5+, only wipes with a damp cloth. Sonic pads on the Sharks vibrate, at 100x per minute on the UR2650WS. If you mop sticky kitchen floors often, favor a roller; for dust on sealed wood, a pad is enough.
Mop lifting decides how it handles rugs
If you have rugs, a mop that lifts saves you from setting zones before every run. The C28 and E25 lift 10.8 mm, which clears low rugs but not deep pile. Shark says the AV2800ZE keeps its pad above carpets without giving a height. The Roomba 105 Combo does not lift but detects carpet and avoids it while mopping, while the Q7 M5+ has no lift, so rugs need no-go zones. The UR2650WS listing does not mention lifting at all. For high-pile rugs, plan to exclude them whatever you buy.
The dock should wash the mop
A dock that washes and dries the mop is what makes daily mopping hands-off. On this page, the C28, E25 and AV2800ZE bases wash and dry the pad or roller; the eufy pair use 50°C hot air. The Roomba 105 Combo, UR2650WS and Q7 M5+ docks only empty debris, so you rinse the pad yourself after each run or it may start to smell. Auto refill matters too: the AV2800ZE refills water for up to 30 days, according to the listing, and the eufy stations refill automatically.
Do not overlook vacuum performance
A combo still spends most of its time vacuuming, so check suction and the brush. eufy lists 20,000 Pa for the E25 and 15,000 Pa for the C28, and roborock lists 10000Pa for the Q7 M5+. iRobot and Shark publish no Pa figure on these listings, so you cannot compare all six on power. Brushes vary too: DuoSpiral on the eufy models, JawScrapers on the roborock, a self-cleaning brushroll on the UR2650WS. If your home is mostly carpet, our main robot vacuum guide covers vacuum-only models.
Factor in runtime and home size
Mopping drains the battery and the water tank, so larger homes need a stated runtime. Only two listings here give one: 125 min in vacuum and mop mode for the E25 and up to 150min for the Q7 M5+, from roborock's chart. The C28, Roomba and both Sharks leave runtime out. Multi-level homes should also check saved maps: the E25 stores up to 5. All of these figures come from the manufacturers, and real runtime drops with higher suction and water settings.
Budget for consumables
Every combo here has ongoing costs, and they differ by brand. The eufy, Roomba and roborock docks use dust bags, with intervals of about 75 days for the eufy pair and the Roomba and up to 7-9 weeks for the Q7 M5+. The AV2800ZE needs odor cartridges and cleaning solution, and mop pads wear out on all of them. The UR2650WS is bagless but holds only 30 days of debris. If upkeep cost is your main worry, our robot vacuum budget guide lists cheaper starting points.
Skip it if…
most of your floor is wall-to-wall carpet, because you would pay for a mop you rarely use.
you have deep-pile rugs in every room and expect the robot to mop around them without any setup.
you are not willing to rinse a mop pad by hand, in which case only the C28, E25 or AV2800ZE make sense here.
you want stains that have dried for days to disappear, since these mops are built for regular light upkeep.
your router only offers 5 GHz Wi-Fi, which rules out several of these combos.
FAQ
What is the best robot vacuum and mop combo?
For most homes it is the eufy Omni C28, because its dock washes and hot-air dries the roller mop and its mop lifts 10.8 mm on carpet. If you want a published runtime and more claimed suction, the eufy Omni E25 lists 125 min and 20,000 Pa. For a Shark whose base washes the pad, look at the PowerDetect AV2800ZE.
Are robot mops actually good at cleaning floors?
They handle regular light upkeep well but do not replace a deep scrub. A robot mop removes dust, footprints and fresh spills on hard floors when it runs often. Dried-on stains usually need a manual pass. Roller mops that are rinsed during the run, like those on the C28 and E25, are designed to spread less dirty water than a flat pad that stays wet with grime.
Can a robot vacuum and mop go on carpet?
Yes, as long as it lifts the mop or avoids carpet while mopping. The C28 and E25 lift 10.8 mm, Shark says the AV2800ZE keeps its pad above carpets, and the Roomba 105 Combo detects carpet and skips it on mopping runs. The roborock Q7 M5+ has no lift, so you set rugs as no-go zones when it mops. Deep pile is a problem for all of them.
Do I need a self-cleaning dock for a robot mop?
Not strictly, but it decides how much work you do. Without mop washing, you remove and rinse the pad after each run, which is the case with the Roomba 105 Combo, the Shark UR2650WS and the roborock Q7 M5+. With a washing and drying dock, like those of the C28, E25 and AV2800ZE, the robot handles the pad itself.
What cleaning solution can I use in a robot mop?
Use only what the manufacturer approves for your model, and check the manual before adding anything. The listings on this page mention brand solutions: the AV2800ZE uses Shark cleaning solution and odor cartridges as consumables, and the Roomba 105 Combo lets you adjust the amount of mopping solution in the app. Using an unapproved cleaner can damage pumps or void the warranty.
